This is a beautiful variety of air plant known for its compact, hardy leaves and striking purple hue.  It grows along a stem and tends to have a light purple color at the leaf tips. This colour can be encouraged by keeping the plant in good light. When in bloom, Araujei produces a beautiful pink flower from its center. This bloom contrasts against the plant's deep green and purple foliage nicely.

This is a fuss-free airplant, perfect for airplant newbies.
